Introduction

Travis Tucker joined DACS in 2012 as Division Director of Fruit and Vegetables. He was born in Lake Wales, Florida and received an AA degree from Polk Community College in 1995. He earned a BS degree in Psychology from Florida State University in 1997.

Mr. Tucker previously worked as an insurance agent for Stallings Crop Insurance Company (2004-2011) and Ewing, Blackwelder and Duce Insurance (2003-2004). He was a crop insurance adjuster for Fireman’s Fund Insurance (2002-2003) and served as teacher in the Polk County School District (1998-2002).

Born in Lake Wales, Florida, Mr. Tucker currently resides in Bartow where he enjoys fishing and being outdoors with his wife, Catherine, and two daughters, Elizabeth and Emily.
