Suspicious Activity

If you come across activity, information, items, or persons that seem suspicious or potentially terrorism-related, following are some general guidelines.

  • Never interfere in suspicious activity, touch or handle suspicious items in any way, or confront suspicious persons.
  • If lives or property appear to be in immediate danger, call 911.
  • If lives or property do not appear to be in immediate danger but you feel that the information you have come across should be reported, call your local law enforcement agency.
  • If the suspicious activity, information, items, or persons appear to be related to the agricultural or food industries, call the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Service’s Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement at (800) 342-5869.
